As any blogger out there, I am a closeted writer. I am an aspiring writer that wants to make it big with this lil’ passion that I have; writing, putting words into sentences that mean something; moving people with my words. I usually just rant and complain and voice things that are in my head out into this endless void.

Sure there is not much structure or anything mind blowing in the things that I have to write or say in my blogs, but they are mine.

But again, I’m a closeted writer. I do write things other than blogs, as demonstrated by some of my entries in the creative category. I do little short prose or writing exercises here and there. Sometimes I’ll write poems; when the mood strikes me of course.

Also, I write screenplays.

But I want to branch out. I have a small yearning to practice, to work on my narrative form; prose.

So, ideally I would like to write more. Maybe they are just short writing exercises that won’t amount to much, but it will be something different. They will be shorts.

I have decided, with some help by some Random Story Generators and other writing prompts, that I may or may not use to start writing some prose from time to time. I would like to keep a weekly schedule, but I’m going to be realistic and say that that’s not going to happen.

You will notice in my “Links” section that there are some links that will direct you to some writing websites. Here there are excellent writing prompts and generators that I will use to give me inspiration to start writing.

Hopefully, I’ll get into the habit and start to create something of my own, something that wasn’t generated by software but by my brain and hopefully it will evolve into a narrative that is mine. Ideally, I’m looking to create a series of shorts and put it in a narrative and call it a novella. I’ll try to keep the characters the same or within the same “verse”. Characters from one story will show up in another as a small or even a major player. It will be my own universe of characters.

That is my goal with my rsg posts.
